THE ITINERARY

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18: (L) Our private dome cars coupled to the rear of Amtrak's California Zephyr Emeryville, California to Sparks, Nevada running over Donner Pass in the High Sierra's winter wonderland. Departure is at 9:15am arriving in Sparks at 4:08pm. You may board at the following Amtrak stations: Emeryville, Martinez, Davis, Sacramento, and Roseville. We will serve you a gourmet lunch onboard and unlimited open bar. Late afternoon hotel check-in at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 19: Free day to relax in the Reno-Sparks area. We have two side trip options available plus just staying in the Reno area.

OPTION 1: Stay in Reno and plan your own day
OPTION 2: Sightseeing tour of Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Virginia City.
OPTION 3: A half day of snowmobiling near Truckee
