Dear Chris
This is just a brief note to fill you in a bit on the Patagonia steam trip. First, we all had a great time. The trip was up to the usual excellence we have experienced on your programs. We were able to get a good cross section of railfans and tourist which was very helful for our segment. We met some really great people along the way. Dale & Miryam and John did a great job in dealing with the unexpected and were well prepared, knowledgeable and helpful to all concerned.
One of these days, Chris, I am hopeful that Barb and I can do one of these as just plain old tourists, and I won't have to worry about a crew, video material, or anything other than enjoying the moment. Thanks for your help. It was quite a wonderful experience for all of us.
